Players Premier League — 17 July 2007

AC Milan and Porto are said to be hot on the heels of Chelsea’s Didier Drogba and now the striker himself has hinted that he might leave the Bridge if he is “not taken care of”, which esseantially means..show me the money.

He told The Sun: “For now things are still fuzzy, not clear. Yet any good offer could tip the scale in any other team’s favour. I have heard there are offers from Porto, Barca and the rest. But I’ve not made up my mind.”

Drogba’s 20 goals helped Chelsea to second spot in the Premiership last season, but the 29-year-old expects better and has warned he will consider leaving if the Blues cannot up their game.

  1. If Drogba leave Chelsea then the club might not even make it to the top 4. Don’t get me wrong. I am a huge fan of the club, but then you have to accept that if it was’nt for Drogba then chelsea would never even be in the race of the premeirship, last season.

  2. Didier Drogba leaving chelsea is a bad news because he is a good and powerful player.chelsea miss he but we can do with him.All we need is good players to take over.ibrahim rafiu, tungamaje abuja.

  3. Drogba is nothing… Surely Roman will bring in a good player even better then Drogbe if he leave… I mean a player like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, David Villa,
