Liverpool Bid For Carlos Tevez

And so the Carlos Tevez saga continues – linked to Inter, AC Milan, PSG, and now Liverpool. The club have apparently had a bid for Tevez rebuffed – and hardly surprising given that they are rumoured to have offered Andy Carroll in a straight swap for the player.

I know Tevez is hard work and a bit of a cry baby at times, but I know who I’d rather have in my team, City would’ve been mad to do a like-for-like swap, although with the money at their disposal I doubt they’d really mind, plus Carroll can be decent when playing as a target man but I can’t see that City would really need to resort to that with the quality of players at their disposal.

Carroll has only scored 6 goals in 35 appearances for Liverpool since his switch from Newcastle, and Liverpool are struggling for goals since the banning of Luis Suarez. They still managed to notch 2 against Man United in the FA Cup yesterday though, with Daniel Agger and Dirk Kuyt scoring for the club to knock their rivals out of the competition.
