Roberto Mancini seems to be faltering under some of the questioning from the media recently, seemingly letting them get under his skin as the season starts to hot up. His side lost 1-0 at home to Liverpool in the first leg of the League Cup semi final, with a Gerrard goal the difference, and apparently the 2 came to clashes in the tunnel after the game over a bad tackle by Glen Johnson.

Gerrard accused Mancini of double standards, when Mancini accused Rooney of getting Kompany red carded in the United v City match a few days ago, as yesterday he apparently tried to get Glen Johnson sent off for his dangerous tackle in injury time.
